Forever Broke

I went shopping again today! So my boyfriend and I decided to go Vegas this weekend! I think everyone in Orange County is -_- I went to 2 different Forever 21 to look for a dress and I end up with NO dress, 2 shirts, a tank, shorts and some hot heels /)_-

Rib Eye Steak

So after my boyfriend made some steak for me, I stole some of his techniques. 0;] But I added a kick to it! I did a quick search online for recipes and found some. I didn't really like the portions and ingredients so I just merged them. It turned out super juicy and no steak sauce needed! :D

Ingredients
Rib Eye
Butter
Kosher Salt
Pepper
Onion Salt
Garlic Salt
Paprika
Garlic (as many cloves, depending on how much you like garlic)
Onion
Parsley
Mushroom

Directions
1. Make sure steak is thawed/room temperature
2. Preheat grill
3. Melt butter
4. Make rub: 1 tsp kosher, 1 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp onion salt, 1/2 tsp garlic salt, 1 tsp paprika; mix well!
5. Take melted butter and lather on steak, then sprinkle rub on top. Don't be afraid to throw on extras :D
6. Repeat on the other side
7. Cook on grill for 3 1/2 minute on each side, or until desired
8. Plate steak and cover with foil lightly (shiny side down)
9. Grill mushrooms while you wait for the foil to cook the meat (about 3 more minutes)
10. Remove foil, sprinkle parsley, plate mushroom, and bone petite!

Lol you read it! I was watching Fox 11 News and they said that tequila is good for you! My favorite drink is tequila! :D Just wanted to share the news! Teeheee bring on the salt!

Solid Pleat Front Dress $10.50 - I'm guilty! /)_(\ I have this color and one in gray. This is so comfortable and the top is an off the shoulder type! I paired this with an off white belt.



Ponte Capsleeve Dress $11.50 - I have this and one in black! It is very versatile! When worn alone, it's casual. If you pair it with a belt and stockings! It makes a big difference! And it can also be worn in the office!



Floral Dress Coat $47.80 - The perfect spring coat!





Polka Dot Showers Umbrella $5.50 - I have this umbrella too! It really stands out when I walk around school because everyone has a monochrome one! :D

Woven Garden Tunic $13.50 - I know, I know, the print is a little granny. But I think it's kitsch and will look ultra cute with a pair of comfortable leggings and sandals ;]



Fab Ponte Skirt $10.50 - I have this and I love it! I just wore it with a black long sleeve top and a black belt with stockings and heels! And I got many compliments that night! This skirt is cute when worn bare as well and very cheap! :D



Yoga Mat $9.80 - Haha yes they sell these babies here too! And since spring is here, many of you are probably getting into your workout. I should know, I am trying to do yoga/pilates at least once a week but then again, I'm lazy. -_-

RAMEN!!!

My bf and I decided to try ramen at Shin Sen Gumi! Haha yes yes I know we are behind on what's hip /)_- but we were sooo disappointed! We got spicy miso broth and everything was so bland! I rather eat the instant noodles! I kept telling my bf I can make something better than this! Sooo the next day I set out to Marukai and bought my ingredients! He loved it (and not because it's a given -_-) but I even made some for my critical mom and she drank all the broth! :D It took me only 10 mins to make it but gathering the ingredients were a little pricey but only because I don't have any of it at home -__-

This is good for one bowl! If you have company then just multiply accordingly :P

Ingredients
+1 1/2 cup of water
+1/2 cup of chicken broth
+Noodles (as much as you like :])
+White Miso Paste
+Hard Boiled Egg
+Meat of your choice
+Chili Oil
+Sesame Oil
+Japanese Chili Seasoning
+Ginger
+Green Onions
+Salmon roe
+Kamaboko (Fish Cake/Pink Swirls) The swirls cost more than the reg looking ones so I just bought reg pink ones -_-

Directions
+Boil egg and peel shells off
+Boil noodles, drain, rinse with cold water, let dry
+Heat up water and broth
+After it boils, add 2 tbsp of miso paste (do not let it boil, simmer is fine)
+Add chili oil and chili seasoning according to taste
+Chop up green onions, kamaboko, ginger, and slice egg in half
+Throw meat in simmer pot, careful not to overcook meat(chewy)!!
+Throw noodles in a bowl, drizzle chili and sesame oil on noodles and mix
+Place chopped ingredients in bowl and place cooked meat in bowl
+Scoop soup out slowly into the bowl
+Dallop some roe in the soup :]
+SERVE!

I just watched My Girl and Lee Dong Wook (Gong Chan) is soooooo hot!!! The story is about a guy who hires a girl to pretend to be his cousin so his dying grandfather's health could improve. They end up falling in love and who wouldn't with that girl's personality! /)_-
