VEGAS!!!

I went to Vegas for my Spring Break! We drove there on Saturday right after I got off work. My boyfriend and I stayed at Vdara with my sister and her girlfriends the first night. Then we checked into our hotel at the Hilton the next day. Here are some pointers if any of you decide to go anytime soon! :]

Vdara: It was really nice but it is so out of the way. It was suppose to be on the Strip, but we had to either take a taxi or walk through 3 different hotels to get to it. It does not have a club or a casino either! The beds were very comfy and the regular room had a king bed and also a living room area which has a pull out queen. The pull out was also comfy. There is a kitchen with a stove, microwave, and a fridge. Instead of knocking on the door, there's a doorbell. But our room had some electric problems so it didn't work :\

Hilton: We got the 24th floor and the room was very roomy. There was a flat screen TV, queen bed, table facing the strip, and a lot of leg room. The only problem was the bathroom area. The water pressure was very hard and the shower curtains were gross with yellow stains. The shower head was also very low. I'm only 5'3 and I felt like a giant showering. The casino area was not bad but not as lively as the other hotel casinos. The monorail was connected to the hotel, so going to the Strip was not a problem. They also had extra parking in the structure so you don't need to valet your car.

Monorail: We paid $15 for a whole day pass. It is pricey but nothing compared to paying for taxi. And we did not want to drink and drive. The Strip always has traffic too. And there is one coming every 6 minutes!

Club Prive: We went here the first night in Planet Hollywood. Thank god my boyfriend knew someone so we got in for free and comped drinks! We also got bottle service. Unfortunately, we arrived in Vegas too late, so we couldn't meet with our friends at XS. But nonetheless, we had fun dancing the night away here.

Earl of Sandwich: The BEST deli in Vegas is located in PLanet Hollywood! We always stop by this deli whenever we're in Vegas! They have the best sandwiches and soup as well. My boyfriend and I ordered 4 sandwiches and 2 soups and brought it back to our hotel. The whole order was only for two people. We're such gluttonous pigs -_-

Fat Tuesday: Ever wonder where people get those tall glasses of frozen delights?! Well, they're located at MGM and it was delicious! We also had some jello shots too. My tall frozen margarita was only $11!

Margaritaville: MMmm the margaritas were pretty good here too. They also serve giant size nachos but we didn't get a chance to try it because we were saving our tummies for the buffet that night.

Serendipity 3: We went here on our previous Vegas trip and I got to say, I loved the decor. It was so girly and kitsch! We only ordered appetizers and dessert but it definitely made us full.

Village Seafood Buffet: Located at Rio hotel, it was so good if you're one of those people who head straight to the seafood section at the buffet. It was on the pricey side, running about $35 per person but seafood is expensive! The first time I went, we lined up right when it opened so everything was super fresh! When we came back for our 2nd trip it wasn't that fresh. I understand due to the crazy crowd they weren't able to clean everything as well. So I suggest, if you're going to be spending that much, please arrive when they open! You will get fresh seafood and avoid the lines! I had two plates of oysters and clams myself! The rest of the dishes were crab legs and whatever else I found appetizing.
